Little know facts about Pamela Potter……..

Pamela has two grown children: a daughter, Joy Elaine (AKA Joystrous) is an artist in Portland, and a son, Brian Hughes, is a television news writer and  product reporter in Japan.

Her current furry child – Bella, the albino Chihuahua is four years old and adopted Pamela one year ago. Bella loves people. She actually smiles when she is happy and frowns when she is worried. Her bark is little.  When she is really excited to greet you, she just shakes all over! She loves to play fetch with her many small stuffed toys. She is often called “Belly” because her favorite thing is to roll over and have her belly rubbed!

Pamela keeps herself busy in her spare time by knitting sweaters for Bella and baby sweaters for friends. She also enjoys putting together easy jigsaw puzzles and reading young adult fiction. She loves the ocean and walking in the waves. Pamela is currently studying Ayurveda and Yoga and has an unusual taste for avocado chocolate pudding. You can ask her how to make that, I’m sure she knows how.

Pamela believes her interest in nursing is genetic.  With a mother and sister who are nurses and her grandmother wanting to be a nurse, it has to be in her genes. Her mother’s touch could help anyone feel better and Pamela became a nurse to continue that legacy and help people heal.

Just recently Pamela went to India for three weeks to enjoy the lived experience of integrative health. She is very sensitive to healing energy and at several places she visited she could feel the healing vibration from years of prayer and devotion.
