Dr. Lyzz Stewart, DNP, RN-BC, is passionate about the care and respect our elders receive. She has worked with older adults her entire career. Dr. Stewart has been certified as a gerontological nurse since 2011 and understands the practical points to the certification exam . She has taught gerontological certification courses throughout Oregon. Dr. Stewart holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Washington State University – Vancouver, a Master’s in Nursing Education from Oregon Health & Science University, and a Bachelor’s of Science of Nursing from the University of Portland.
