Nurse Delegation Core is designed for the Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide to learn the basics of delegation, how to administer medication and perform specific health care procedures. You will learn about the laws that govern delegation and the importance of your role in the delegation process. You will be given the basic principles to properly and safely administer medications, perform specific procedures and provide specific treatments. You will be required to pass a written exam.

This program meets the 2018 Washington State DSHS-approved mandatory “Nurse Delegation for Nursing Assistants and Home Care Aides” requirement for your caregiving Health Services/ Nursing staff members.

Who Should Attend?  All Med Aides, Caregivers, CNA, HCA, NAR and others in long term care settings desiring to accept delegated tasks.

Additional Information
