Discover how to confidently review diabetes health conditions with your residents and address the complications associated with diabetes management. From the warning signs of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia to the appropriate responses to treating these conditions, you will learn all aspect of different types diabetes medications and insulin, including how to safely draw up, administer, and document insulin administration.
This program meets the 2018 Washington State DSHS-approved mandatory “Nursing Delegation for Nursing Assistants: Special Focus on Diabetes” training for your Medication Aides/ Medication Techs requirement for medication administration.
