Program Description

Refresh your knowledge on normal aging physiology, assessment, and diagnosis pearls for the older adult.  Practice effective communication strategies which lead to results in older adults. Explore safety related issues and health promotion strategies specific to the older adult population.  Whether you are new to the Health Services Director role, updating your practice skills, or preparing for the gerontological nursing board exam, this course will give you the tools you need to advance your clinical practice.  Through case studies, exercises, and simulation, you will practice skills to benefit your clinical practice.
