Moderate
Sedation for Experienced Providers
Description
Have you been certified to provide moderate
sedation procedures? Do you need a refresher on what Joint Commission says you should be doing? Are you aware of pediatric and
other special population considerations regarding
moderate sedation procedures? Are you prepared to
manage potential complications related to moderate
sedation administration?
This
seminar provides the didactic education with
practical exercises to guide the nurse who has
administered moderate sedation. The course provides
an in-depth discussion of commonly used sedation medications
and reversal agents, to include recommended dose,
onset, peak, duration and side effects.
