Sedation for Beginners
Description
Do
you know the Joint Commission recommendations for safe moderate
sedation procedures? Are you aware of pediatric and
other special population considerations regarding
moderate sedation procedures? Are you prepared to
manage potential complications related to moderate
sedation administration?
This
4-hour seminar provides the didactic education with
practical exercises to guide the nurse who has never
administered moderate sedation. The course provides
an in-depth discussion of commonly used sedation medications
and reversal agents, to include recommended dose,
onset, peak, duration and side effects.
